Xbox Elite now available

This year Microsoft had some major announcements at E3, one of them was the new Xbox Elite version of the “one” console. Today, the new console was unveiled and as Microsoft reported at their E3 conference the console now has a matte finish and a is packed with a 1TB Solid State Hybrid drive. The new drive claims to improve performance and save battery.
The blog post stated –

The Xbox One Elite Bundle includes a 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive, which stores frequently accessed files on a solid state partition and optimizes system performance so you can get to the action up to 20 percent faster from energy-saving mode. This means you can spend more time this holiday playing the greatest games in Xbox history, including Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6.

Along with the new Elite console, the newer and upgraded Xbox Elite controller is also included. The new controller is a “performance-class” controller and comes with extreme customizability, hair-trigger and new d-pad design. This will enhance gaming performance for both FPS and regular game players.

The console will be available this November worldwide and in the US on November 3, it will be priced at $499 USD. Microsoft has also launched a special edition controller which is in lunar white color. This will be available at GameStop exclusively for $64.99 USD.
