Apple has just revealed the biggest iPad till date – the all new iPad Pro and as all the rumours suggested, the new iPad stands out with a 12.9 inch screen with 2,732 x 2,048 pixels, the new 3rd gen, 64-bit A9X processor made to handle those multi-tasking features in the new iOS 9 and boasts to be 2x times faster than its predecessor.

The new iPad is said to have a 10 hour battery life, 4 audio speakers, is just 6.9mm thin and weighs under 1 Kg.The tablet will also feature the TouchID and an 8 MP iSight camera. A full-fledged “smart keyboard” which will retail for $169 with the functionality of a cover for the device as well. A stylus was also revealed which is called the Apple Pencil and as expected from Apple, it is a step ahead in the stylus world. The stylus is designed to track the sensitivity, angle and direction to provide precision output for the user. The keyboard uses a magnetic technology and will snap itself to the iPad which is quite similar to Microsoft’s Surface pro series. The Apple Pencil will retail for $99.

The Apple iPad is going on sale this November and is priced at $799 for the 32GB variant, $949 for 128GB and $1079 for 128GB and LTE connectivity with the availability in 3 different colors – silver, gold and space grey.
With such a huge screen and a CPU that amazingly fast, is the iPad Pro an overkill? We’ll come to know once it launches.
